Academics

A Christ-centered middle school program for grades 6 through 8 that challenges students academically while forming them spiritually, socially, and emotionally.

The Seton Catholic Middle School Curriculum Guide gives students and families a clear picture of what students learn from sixth through eighth grade. It outlines the major content, skills, projects, and standards in each subject, and shows how learning builds from one grade to the next. The guide is a living document that will continue to grow as we develop and strengthen our middle school curriculum over the next several years.

Service

Middle School Service

Required service hours give students the opportunity to connect with our community and make it a better place, building a habit of looking for ways to help others.

Service Requirements

  • A total of 10 hours of service each school year
  • At least 1 hour in each category: church, family, and community
  • The remaining 7 hours are the student's choice from any of the three categories
  • Every hour needs the signature of the supervisor who oversaw the service
  • Service projects completed at school do not count toward the 10 hours
  • Students may carry over 2 hours of service time from the previous summer
