Seton Catholic Extended Care is a safe and welcoming place for students to spend time before and after school. Our program provides a structured environment where students can play, socialize with friends, participate in activities, and have time for independent work and learning. We strive to provide families with a convenient and dependable option for before- and after-school care.

Hours of Care

Extended Care is available:

Days	Morning	Afternoon
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday	6:30-7:30 a.m. (based on staffing availability)	3:00-6:00 p.m.
Wednesday	6:30-7:30 a.m. (based on staffing availability)	2:00-6:00 p.m.

The program is available for students in grades K-5 Monday through Friday and 4-year-old preschool students Monday through Thursday.

About the Program

Program Information

Iowa HHS Licensed

Seton Catholic Extended Care operates during the school calendar year. The program is licensed through the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and operates in designated spaces at Seton Catholic School.

Pricing

Rates for the 2026-2027 School Year

Extended Care Rates

$5.00 per hour, with a one-hour minimum
$25 registration fee per student
Family Discount: For families with three or more children participating in Extended Care, the first two children are full price, and the third child and any additional children are half price. This discount will be offered for the 2026-2027 school year and reviewed at the end of the year.
$5.00 late pickup fee for every five minutes after 6:00 p.m.
